Corylus spp. 8-12' × same (varies due to seedling nature) Seeds collected from orchards with potential crossing of three hazelnut species: American hazelnut, Corylus americana; beaked hazelnut, C. cornuta; European hazelnut, C. avellana. The nuts from these shrubs will likely be larger than those from other seedlings because they are crossed with the larger Europeans (the kind you can buy at the store).
